Tera-Tom here!  CoffingDW is at it again, shaking up the industry and forming new partnerships. I am very happy to announce CoffingDW will soon offer our Nexus Enterprise Software on the Amazon Cloud. This will give companies and users who have never tried Nexus before the ability to harness the power of the Nexus without downloading it to their own server.

Offering the Nexus via The Cloud makes perfect business sense to any enterprise. Users can set up an instance of Nexus and then use it to connect to any system that they are working with. Now, there is no need to switch between different software while accessing various systems because once the user sets up an instance of Nexus, they can access all systems in their enterprise.

Amazon Web Services is so excited to begin this partnership for many reasons, but most importantly, the Nexus works brilliantly on their Redshift technology. Users who have never tried Redshift before can set up an instance on AWS, connect to it with Nexus, and then query, convert DDL, and load their ERwin logical model for Redshift.

CoffingDW is also set to release a new version of Nexus that is fully functional on Aster Data.  Users can see their Aster Data tree, load their ERwin model, see tables and views visually, and easily run MapReduce functions with Nexus.  When this is released next week, it will be the best Aster Data tool in the world.
